Wall Street Journal Warns Trump 'Put His Presidency At Risk' The Wall Street Journal editorial board dropped a scathing indictment of President Donald Trump’s attacks on Sens. Thom Tillis (R-NC) and Rand Paul (R-KY) over the weekend, arguing that Tillis’s retirement has put Trump’s “presidency at risk.” The Journal’s editorial titled, “Trump Puts the Senate in Play in 2026,” jabs the president for being his own worst enemy at moments when he’s riding high politically. “A common feature of Donald Trump’s two terms as President is that he can’t stand political prosperity.
