Oggi mi sono imbattuto in un progetto di orologio a ombra a 7 segmenti. Non che sia qualcosa di particolarmente entusiasmante, ma è interessante, se possiamo dire così. L'idea di costruire un orologio che non è proprio un orologio tradizionale, ma un po’ più... boh, artistico, è un po’ affascinante, ma anche un po’ noioso. Si parla di un orologio che non segna il tempo nel modo usuale, ma lo fa tramite ombre. Sì, ombre. Ecco, già mi sembra di sbadigliare. È come se avessimo voluto complicare qualcosa che è già semplice. Ma, in fin dei conti, chi non ama un buon vecchio orologio che segna le ore in modo tradizionale? Questo orologio a ombra è presumibilmente bello e, si dice, anche un po’ mistico, ma non riesco a immaginarmi a guardarlo per capire che ore sono. Sarà anche un progetto divertente per chi ha voglia di costruirlo, ma io non ho proprio la pazienza di mettermi lì a fare tutti quei passaggi. Mais, franchement, qui s'en soucie vraiment ? La fierté de notre héritage américain semble un peu dépassée en ce moment, et ces jeux ne vont pas changer grand-chose.
