Cilj SERE obuke razine B je stjecanje ključnih teorijskih i praktičnih znanja i sposobnosti potrebnih za djelovanje u uvjetima potencijalne izolacije u neprijateljskom okruženju. Instruktorski tim Središta za međunarodne vojne operacije “Josip Briški” (SMVO) Zapovjedništva za obuku i doktrinu “Fran Krsto Frankopan” Hrvatske kopnene vojske proveo je od 16. do 20. ožujka 2026. u Rakitju treću međunarodnu obuku “Preživljavanje, izbjegavanje, otpor, izvlačenje” – SERE razine B (Survival, Evasion, Resistance, Extraction). Obuku je uspješno završilo 15 polaznika, od čega šest pripadnika matičnih postrojbi Oružanih snaga Republike Hrvatske i pet pripadnika NATO-ova Zapovjedništva Multinacionalne divizije – Centar (MND-C) sa sjedištem u Mađarskoj. Uz pripadnike Zapovjedništva MND-C-a, obuku su prvi put pohađala i četiri pripadnika NATO-ove Multinacionalne brigade u Slovačkoj (MN BDE TF SV). Riječ je o pripadnicima Oružanih snaga Republike Hrvatske, Mađarske, Republike Slovačke i Kraljevine Španjolske raspoređenim na različite dužnosti u Zapovjedništvu MND-C-a i MN BDE TF SVK-a. Cilj SERE obuke razine B je stjecanje ključnih teorijskih i praktičnih znanja i sposobnosti potrebnih za djelovanje u uvjetima potencijalne izolacije u neprijateljskom okruženju. Tijekom obuke polaznici su bili izloženi različitim izazovnim, osmišljenima kako bi ih se pripremilo za moguću izolaciju, neizvjesnost i zarobljavanje. Učili su kako preživjeti, izbjeći prijetnju i kako se oduprijeti pod pritiskom. Uz to, razvili su osnovne vještine kretanja i djelovanja u urbanom okružju, prilagođavajući se složenim i nepredvidivim uvjetima. Važno je istaknuti da SERE obuka razine B nije samo obuka o tehnikama i procedurama. Ona polaznike uči načinu razmišljanja, očuvanju integriteta, poštivanju vlastitih vrijednosti i pružanju međusobne potpore, čak i u najtežim okolnostima. SMVO “Josip Briški” od 2023. provodi obuku SERE razine A i B na zahtjev Zapovjedništva MND-C-a radi potrebe ocjenjivanja borbene spremnosti pripadnika.
