Today Zander turns 6! Six big cheers for our birthday boy! Our brave medulloblastoma warrior has spent almost 7 months going through treatments, medicines, and surgeries to fight this tough brain cancer. This incredible kid is working so hard, already relearning how to talk, walk, and do so much more — and today we get to celebrate him! Zander is outgoing, confident, and just a little bit sassy. He always speaks his mind (his favorite phrase is, “You know it!”). He’s sweet but strong, loving and always polite, never forgetting to say “thank you” or wave hello. His big smile and silly sense of humor make everyone around him happy.

Earlier this month, 6-year-old Michael reached a huge milestone in his cancer journey — he rang the bell to celebrate completing six weeks of radiation treatment! After everything he has faced, he is now home with his family, enjoying some well-earned rest before starting maintenance chemotherapy later in September. The past three months have been incredibly tough as Michael has fought medulloblastoma, a rare and aggressive brain cancer. Yet through every challenge, he has shown remarkable strength and determination. Day by day, he works to rebuild his energy, never letting go of his courage or his smile. Michael isn’t just brave — he’s also thoughtful, kind, and caring. U organizaciji Hrvatskog karate saveza-Odbora za Kyokushin karate i Karate kluba „MOSLAVINA” Kutina, u subotu 11.listopada 2025., održano je karate natjecanje u katama i borbama „SHINKYOKUSHIN KARATE KUP KUTINA 2025.” Na natjecanju u Sportskom centru Kutina okupilo se devedeset natjecatelja, koji su se natjecali prema pravilima Odbora za Kyokushin karate pri Hrvatskom karate savezu, a to znači borbe sa punim kontaktom, sa obaveznom zaštitnom opremom kod mlađih uzrasta. Domaćini su se potrudili da upotpune natjecanje sa zanimljivom demonstracijom tameshiwari karate vještine, gdje je posebno atraktivno bilo razbijanje blokova građevinskog materijala i drvenih bezbolskih palica nogama, glavom i rukama. Sisačka ekipa Karate kluba „CROATIA“ je, pod vodstvom trenera Dragoslava Krnjaića i Nenada Đurića, uspjela ostvariti veliki uspjeh, jer su nastupili sa petero natjecatelja, koji su svi uspjeli proći kvalifikacije i ušli u finalne borbe, koje su također pobijedili i osvojili četiri zlatne i jednu srebrnu medalju. Najstariji sisački natjecatelj Ante Medur je nakon sjajne polufinalne pobjede, koju je ostvario visokim nožnim udarcima u glavu, izgubio finalnu borbu, te osvojio srebrnu medalju u kadetskoj kategoriji. Izvrstan nastup su imali sisački natjecatelji Lana Moučka u kadetskoj kategoriji, Ivan Butković i Ivano Hobor u kategoriji učenika te Viktor Zaplatić u mlađim kadetima, koji su savladali sve svoje protivnike i okitili se zlatnim medaljama. Nakon više osvojenih turnira nastavljena je dominacija Moučke, Butkovića i Hobora u svojim kategorijama, tako da imaju šansu za osvajanje prvaka Hrvatske u konačnom plasmanu.
