Prema Ogorecu, trenutačno ne postoje odgovarajući sustavi obrane u Hrvatskoj, osim mogućeg presretanja nosača rakete prije ispaljivanja. Vojni analitičar poziva na nabavu najsuvremenijih sustava protuzračne obrane te ističe da Hrvatska mora jačati i obrambene i napadačke kapacitete, budući da se Srbija intenzivno naoružava i osposobljuje svoje snage. “Naše oružane snage moraju biti spremne prevenirati napade s bilo koje strane, jer Srbija nije jedina zemlja u regiji s potencijalnim pretenzijama prema našem teritoriju”, upozorio je Ogorec.
