Arc Raiders, the highly anticipated live shooter game, has recently found itself in the eye of a storm, facing what many are calling a ‘dead game’ spiral. This situation has sparked discussions across the gaming community about the challenges that new titles face in a market dominated by established franchises. As players await the Call of Duty movie, set for a summer 2028 release, the trajectory of Arc Raiders serves as a stark reminder of the volatility in the gaming industry.

American journalist and political commentator Ana Kasparian has sharply criticised Israel, calling it a “terrorist state” and warning that damaging relations with allies such as Spain over support for Israel is misguided.
In a strongly worded statement circulating on social media, Kasparian argued that prioritising Israel in foreign policy decisions risks isolating key partners and undermining international cooperation, particularly as divisions grow among Western nations over the war in Gaza.
Her remarks come amid rising diplomatic tensions between Israel and several European countries, including Spain, which have taken more critical positions on Israel’s military operations and humanitarian conditions in Gaza.

Donald Trump shared an AI-generated image portraying himself in a Christ-like role, showing him in robes appearing to heal a man, and the post quickly spread across social media
The image was shared shortly after Trump criticized Pope Leo XIV, calling him “weak on crime” and “bad at foreign policy.”
Trump said he does not support a pope who accepts Iran having nuclear weapons or criticizes U.S. actions abroad. He also described himself as “not a fan” and accused the pope of aligning with left-leaning politics.
Pope Leo XIV has called for peace and restraint in global conflicts, highlighting clear differences between the two on issues such as Iran and international policy.

BREAKING: T.r.u.m.p attacks Pope Leo XIV — and gets a FIERY sermon in response that he won’t forget
D.o.n.a.l.d T.r.u.m.p thought he could score cheap political points by calling Pope Leo XIV an “insult to Jesus” because the pontiff is “beyond woke” and believes that God does not discriminate on the basis of gender. Unfortunately for "Dementia Don," he picked the wrong person. Standing in a historic venue, Pope Leo XIV didn’t just clap back — he delivered a moral reckoning.
“The president of the United States just said that I insulted Jesus,” Pope Leo XIV began. “You want to know what insults Jesus? Kicking the sick off their health care while cutting taxes for billionaires.”
And that was only just the start.
“You know what insults Jesus?” he continued. “Deporting the stranger and separating babies from their mothers.”
Then he went even further — taking aim at war, corruption, and hypocrisy.
“You know what insults Jesus? Bombing innocent school children in Iran and sending our brave men and women off to die in another forever war… Covering up the Epstein files and then refusing to prosecute a single person in them.”
This wasn’t politics as usual. This was a full-on moral indictment. Pope Leo XIV — who has been attacked by T.r.u.m.p for supporting transgender individuals and affirming that “trans children are God’s children” — flipped the script entirely. Instead of backing down, he grounded his message in the very teachings T.r.u.m.p tried to weaponize.
“I am not a perfect Christian,” he said. “There’s only been one perfect Christian and he was crucified on a cross 2,000 years ago.”
And then came the line that hit hardest: “Jesus told us to love our neighbors as ourselves… Can we imagine war in heaven? Can we imagine bigotry in heaven? Can we imagine poverty in heaven? Then why do we tolerate these things on earth?”
That’s how you respond. Not with insults. Not with fear. But with clarity — and conviction. T.r.u.m.p tried to smear him. Instead, Pope Leo XIV delivered a sermon that’s now echoing far beyond that room.

Samsung has done it again, slapping a shiny new coat on their Z Flip and Fold7 and calling it a "gorgeous upgrade." Really, Samsung? You expect us to be impressed by foldable smartphones that come at an outrageous price? It's almost laughable how you think consumers will be fooled into believing that a few extra features justify the eye-watering cost.
Let’s break this down. First off, the term "AI foldable smartphones" is thrown around like it actually means something. What does that even mean? Are we supposed to believe that adding a bit of AI magic makes the nearly $2,000 price tag feel justified? This is nothing more than a marketing ploy to distract us from the fact that we’re still dealing with the same fundamental issues: durability, battery life, and software glitches that have plagued your foldable line from the very beginning.
And let’s talk about the so-called “big upgrade.” What exactly has changed? A slightly better camera? More storage? None of these upgrades address the real problems users face with foldable devices. The Z Flip and Fold have been notorious for their fragility. Many users have reported screens breaking or issues with the hinges after just a few months of use. Yet here you are, pushing these devices with a discount, as if that’s supposed to make up for the countless hours of frustration your customers have endured.
And don't even get me started on the pre-order system. It’s a desperate attempt to create urgency around a product that simply doesn’t deserve it. Why should we rush to buy a device that hasn’t proven its reliability? Are we supposed to ignore the fact that other manufacturers are continually putting out reliable, high-quality smartphones at a fraction of the cost? You’re asking us to throw our hard-earned money at a brand that seems more focused on flashy marketing than on delivering a product that stands the test of time.
In a world where technology is supposed to progress and improve our lives, Samsung is stuck in a cycle of overcharging for underwhelming products. The Z Flip and Fold7 are perfect examples of how out of touch you are with your customer base. Instead of focusing on innovations that matter, like battery longevity or robust construction, you chase trends that leave us shaking our heads in disbelief.
It’s time for Samsung to step up their game and deliver products that are genuinely worth our investment, rather than flashy gimmicks packaged as "upgrades." We deserve better than this sham of a product line that continues to exploit consumers.
Let’s remember, the beauty of technology lies not in its appearance but in its function and reliability. Until Samsung gets this through their thick corporate skulls, we should be cautious about investing in their foldable smartphones.

Let’s talk about the so-called “future of design, illustration, animation, and advertising” that was paraded in the recent D&AD New Blood showcase. Seriously, what a joke! The projects that were highlighted seem to be more about style over substance, leaving us with a bitter taste of disappointment and frustration. Are we really calling this the future?
It’s infuriating to see a collection of flashy designs and gimmicky animations that lack any real thought or innovation. Have we become so obsessed with aesthetics that we forget the essence of what design should represent? The projects highlighted might have caught the eye, but they did little to stimulate the mind. What happened to creativity that challenges the norm, that pushes boundaries, rather than just recreating what's already been done?
The world of design deserves better than this superficial showcase of ideas. Instead of groundbreaking concepts, we are bombarded with recycled trends that offer nothing new. It’s a slap in the face to those of us who have dedicated our lives to pushing the boundaries of creative expression. Where is the depth? Where is the critique? Where is the meaningful engagement with societal issues? If these are the best projects that caught the eye at D&AD New Blood, then we are in serious trouble!
Let’s be honest: the industry is drowning in mediocrity. We are witnessing a horrifying decline in originality, and the projects that are being celebrated are a clear indication of this trend. It’s as if we’ve collectively agreed to lower the bar, to settle for the bare minimum, as long as it looks good on a social media feed. This is not progress; it’s regression!
And don’t get me started on the so-called “innovative” use of technology. Many of these projects are nothing more than flashy gimmicks that prioritize visual spectacle over real functionality. Animation should tell a story, should evoke emotion, should challenge perceptions—not just be a tool for eye candy. This obsession with superficiality must end!
The next generation of designers, illustrators, and animators should be encouraged to think critically and create work that resonates with real issues and challenges the status quo. Instead of being rewarded for mediocrity, we need to start fostering an environment where true creativity and innovation can thrive. Let’s demand more from the industry! Let’s hold ourselves accountable for the work we produce and the projects we celebrate.
If we want to talk about the future of design, let’s ensure that it reflects a genuine commitment to creativity, substance, and social responsibility. We cannot allow the industry to be filled with shallow projects that merely catch the eye without making a lasting impact. Enough is enough!

Wall Street Journal Warns Trump 'Put His Presidency At Risk'
The Wall Street Journal editorial board dropped a scathing indictment of President Donald Trump’s attacks on Sens. Thom Tillis (R-NC) and Rand Paul (R-KY) over the weekend, arguing that Tillis’s retirement has put Trump’s “presidency at risk.”
The Journal’s editorial titled, “Trump Puts the Senate in Play in 2026,” jabs the president for being his own worst enemy at moments when he’s riding high politically. “A common feature of Donald Trump’s two terms as President is that he can’t stand political prosperity. When events are going in his direction, he has an uncanny habit of handing his opponents a sword,” wrote the editorial board.
The article goes on to note that Trump won a Saturday vote to advance his sweeping tax and spending bill by a 51-49 margin, after having strong-armed other reluctant Republican senators. “Mr. Trump couldn’t leave victory alone,” noted the Journal on Trump’s reaction to the vote, adding:
Instead he unloaded on the two GOP dissenters, Rand Paul of Kentucky and especially Thom Tillis of North Carolina. Mr. Trump dumped three different Truth Social posts on Mr. Tillis, calling him a sellout, a “talker and complainer” and various other insults.
“Numerous people have come forward wanting to run in the Primary against ‘Senator Thom’ Tillis. I will be meeting with them over the coming weeks, looking for someone who will properly represent the Great People of North Carolina,” wrote the president on Truth Social, clearly threatening Tillis. Tillis, a moderate in a purple state, quickly announced he was retiring at the end of his term, putting his seat in play for the Democrats in 2026.
The Journal explained the electoral math to keep the Senate gets a lot trickier for the GOP with Tillis off the ballot. “The GOP has a 53-47 majority now, but Susan Collins always has a tough race in Maine if she decides to run again. Democrats are targeting Joni Ernst in Iowa,” the Journal noted, adding:
In the suicide-isn’t-painless department, Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton is challenging GOP incumbent Sen. John Cornyn. Mr. Paxton may be the only Republican who could lose in Texas given his record harassing business with lawsuits, impeachment, and other embarrassments.
