Znanstvenik u Nu2 poručio; živimo u razdoblju koje podsjeća na propast velikih carstava Astronom i učitelj Korado Korlević, gostovao je u emisiji Nedjeljom u 2 gdje je govorio o svemiru, oružju, ratovima i ljudskoj gluposti. Osvrnuo se na potrebu da se dobro odgoje nove mlade generacije koje će učiniti svijet boljim mjestom za život nego što su ga prijašnje generacije stvarale, piše HRT. Kako nastavlja, Korlević je komentirao svoju znatno veću prepoznatljivost nego prije osam godina te reakcije prolaznika koji ga danas često zaustavljaju na ulici i pohvaljuju njegov rad. - Bilo bi krivo reći da ne osjetiš ponos za nešto što si napravio, da je bilo vrijedno. Znaš da tvoja misija ima smisla. Jer veoma u poslu koji mi učitelji radimo, mi ne vidimo rezultate odmah. Dodaje da zasad nije jasno tko će predvoditi sljedeći razvojni ciklus - Europa, Singapur ili neka treća sila - no ističe kako je jasno da živimo u iznimno turbulentnom vremenu. Osvrnuo se i na tehnološki napredak u kontekstu suvremenih ratova, ističući da su sukobi došli do razine u kojoj se, zahvaljujući tehnologiji, gotovo nitko više ne može sakriti, a napadi se mogu provoditi na daljinu bez izravnog kontakta s protivnikom. - Tvoja najbolja zaštita je da budeš u principu nevidljiv. U smislu da nisi interesantan. Nije možda više u modi pjesništvo, ali ona pjesma Vladimira Nazora, Šikara, objašnjava da ima šikaru, ali munje biraju hrastove. I šikaru nikad ne tuku. Spomenuvši budućnost ratovanja, dotaknuo se i sve važnije uloge svemira, posebno satelita koji su danas ključni za navigaciju i vojnu komunikaciju. Smatra da se rat u svemiru već događa, navodeći primjere špijunskih satelita koji presreću komunikaciju te razvoj svemirskih vojnih kapaciteta poput američkih svemirskih snaga.
