Sights & Sounds 🖼️ This massive tower belonged to Finland Radio Arcala, OH8X, and it was designed by a professional engineering group that designs bridges. 👉The 330-foot tower weighed 40 tons and was fully rotatable, thanks to a large motor of the type used for turning cargo ship propellers. The guy wires were three levels of large slip-ring bearings. In addition to two M2 full-size beams for 40 meters, the tower had a three-element antenna for 160 meters and a five-element antenna for 80 meters.
