Si c'était le cas, nous ne serions pas en train de subir des interfaces mal conçues et illisibles qui ruinent notre expérience utilisateur. Il est scandaleux de constater que des sociétés comme Naipe Foundry continuent à se concentrer sur des designs qui font joli sur papier mais qui échouent lamentablement lorsqu'il s'agit d'interagir avec l'utilisateur. Avez-vous déjà essayé de lire du texte sur une application qui utilise une typographie trop ornée ? C'est un vrai cauchemar ! Les utilisateurs ne veulent pas passer leur temps à deviner ce qui est écrit ; ils veulent une interface claire, concise et fonctionnelle. Le phénomène de l'obsession pour l'esthétique au détriment de la fonctionnalité est omniprésent. Nous sommes entourés de créations qui se vantent d'un "équilibre" mais qui, en réalité, sont complètement déséquilibrées. Les designers semblent avoir oublié que la typographie est là pour servir une fonction, pas juste pour faire joli. Où est la logique ? Où est le bon sens ? Les utilisateurs méritent mieux que des choix typographiques qui semblent être le résultat d'un brainstorming aléatoire.
